Italian motorcycle maker Benelli is expected to launch the new 302S in India. This is an alternative to the new motorcycle TNT 300. The company said they will soon release the Beneli 302S.
The upcoming Benelli 302S features upgrades over the company’s TNT 300 model. The 302S features a brand new LED headlamp and a fully digital instrument cluster.
Benelli’s TNT 300 model includes halogen headlamp and semi-digital instrument clusters. The 302S has a larger radiator compared to the TNT 300.
Outside of this vehicle some upgrades have been made. This includes a fuel tank, engine cowl, split seats and rear panels. The new motorcycle will also include the trellis frame found on the TNT 300.
The Benelli 302S features 41mm inverted telescopic forks at the front and a preload & rebound adjustable asymmetric mono shock at the rear.
The front has four piston calipers. It features 260mm dual disc brakes and two piston calipers at the rear, while braking functions are carried out by a 240mm disc. The Benelli 302S features 17-inch alloy wheels. 120/70 section tire at front and 160/60 section tire at rear.
The 302S is powered by a 300cc BS-6 compliant, parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled four-volume DOHC engine that produces 37.5bhp of power and 25.62Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and comes standard with a slipper-assist clutch and ABS. The Benelli 302S is priced at around Rs 3.25 lakh.
Thoughts about the Benelli 302: The 302S will play a major role in the next generation of motorcycles. The Benelli motorcycle received many upgrades with the approval of the BS6. Benelli plays a big part in the price. We know that there is a possibility of an increase of Rs 12,000. However, the 302S is slightly better than the TNT 300. Also very suitable for riders.
